Sounds like everyone has the same idea. Now that we've thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful Michigan summer, it's time to get back to indoor creativity. Attended the MQN show yesterday and got "reinspired". "Two Men and a Trunk (and one in trunks)" was hilarious. Actually came home and cleared off my cutting table (before watching the overtime of the MSU game - wow! - even from a "Blue" fan).Country Stitches block of the month is due this week. Then there's the Habitat for Humanity small quilt and the Charm attic window challenge. I think this is the first year I have all of my block exchange blocks done before the last meeting of the year. - hooray! I'm also determined to learn how to knit socks this winter.
Time to get movin', movin', movin'!

If it inspires you, Lisa, I'm done with my block exchange quilts. Weird, eh?
I really like all that applique.......yes...really. I am changing!!!!
This was a weekend of quilting inspiration for a lot of us - maybe we need cold, rainy days more often! Glad to hear that folks have their block exchange blocks finished. I love the September meeting where we see the final blocks for each person's quilt.
Hey, Lisa,
Ready for Sock Knitting 101 - just say when and where!
NOT ready for Applique 627...
Glad you got to hear Two Men and a Trunk - which one was in trunks? Dare I guess?! I wish I could have been in two places at once.
Glad to see you back on your blog.
But - nothing about Wheatlands? Hmmmm

Hi Lisa - thanks for visiting the ALQS blog. Not quite ready for a new round yet, but it's percolating. Soon, I think!
